Unknown Factions

I was looking in some folders looking for screenshots and I stumbled upon the faction eliminated videos. There were two factions in there that I had never heard of. They were the MOORS and the WHITE HUNS. Is this just two extra videos that CA put in for factions that were taken out of the game?

Yeah, these 2 also have campaign_descriptions at:

C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\bi\data\text

As you say, they were probably removed before BI was released, the developers never got round to it, or whatever.

I would assume reason Moors where dropped was because they would be in same place as Berbers, and White Huns/Hephtalites because they would have to stretch the map further east to get them in.

Yes...And of course you'd have to add more factions if you went futher east. Its an interesting Idea though. Eurasia Total War.

It’s more then likely just excess baggage that they did not feel the need to get rid of. You can find all sorts off odd little things like that if you have a look round the data folders in games. :)
