    Default Glub, Glub, Glub....

Anybody else out there ever end up with 31 dead in a slinger group during a bridge battle -- by drowning?

My unit spun on me at the edge -- I just told them to change targets -- and then a minute or two later I scan over to see them at half strength. Scrolling forward, I saw all these little green Rhodians under the gray-blue water next to their unit.

Heroic victory and all that, I had Cretans and Rhodians and Merc Hops defending my bridge into Egyptian-held Halicarnassus and the Selookys only brought spears and peltasts and light cav to the party -- adios my friends.

They only killed 19 -- all spears & back-up peasant plugging the bridge, but I had over 50 casualties. The Rhodians were quite upset with me I expect. Aside from gathering them all for a , what can I do to prevent this kind of malf-up. It rather spoiled an otherwise enjoyable win.
