Default Did they license out the RTW engine?

I was just looking at some of the screenshots of that Legion Arena. They either did a really, really good job cloning the RTW 3D engine or CA sold it to them.

Very strange. I didn't see any reference to CA or that it was using RTW engine.

Then again, maybe it's just me.

I don't think it's the same engine. The graphics quality is a lot worse than RTW and there's no campaign map whatsoever.

Slitherine does not use Creative Assembly's engine, as far as I know.

The problem with Legion Arena is that it is a linear series of battles.

Legion II is coming out in time and that can be compared to Rome Totalwar, with it having the same sort of strategy map and tactical battle levels.
