Thread: EB Scandals
I was glad to learn that EB was only the cover for a world takeover conspiracy. I had heard a rumor that it was the cover for a very exclusive MP game -- THAT would have been intolerable.
That's a new one on me...oh damn, i misread the thread title. i thought it was dedicated to EB Sandals. i love the idea of having EB Sandals.
I'd buy those in a heartbeat. 
They'd be even better as spamdals.
Well if you want a real scandal I've heard that members of the RTR team are ripping off things designed by the EB team and passing it on as their own work.
Not sure if that is anything new to you guys though...

That is a pretty serious accusation to make, do not say things like that unless you have some sort of evidence.
It wouldn't surprise me if they were... Not sure if it's changed or not but not so long ago their leader was ripping off ad money and their forums were like nazi Germany... The slightest wrong thing said or bad word against RTR and you got banned.
End the speculation now or this gets locked.
RTR is just a straw man created by EB to distract blame from them. The various versions of RTR have actually been older builds of EB.

I've to admit though, things got a whole lot better after Tyr left. Afterwards everybody seemed to agree that he was running the project and the site like a tyrant. As for his alleged crime of stealing money...money did disappear, but I don't think malicious intent was ever proven.
After Tyr left/got sacked, the RTR site stayed in his hand (though he claims he sold it to an unidentified person) and whoever runs www.rometotalrealism.com now still claims its the official site. The RTR team has however moved to www.rometotalrealism.org
And recently several key developers have stopped working for RTR. Following the events on RTR is like watching a TV drama series

And sandals are the best form of footwear ever. The only second, and very far behind are my Earth shoes....
I don't wear sandals; I don't like them. I perfer old, ****ty sneakers.
I'm 45, normally, depends on the brand though. the shoes i'm wearing now are size 47...
