    The story in a nutshell:

Chinese restaurant fined £20,000 for cockroaches in the prawns.

Local newspaper (circ 1400) runs story on front page.

"Someone" buys every single copy of the loca newspaper as soon as it comes out, so no one can read the story.

Result: story is carried in all the national and regional media (circulation about 60 million)

That's the Sea Palace restaurant in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. Cockroaches in the prawns, folks.

    Wanton stupidity is always amusing.

...The Mu brothers yesterday denied having anything to do with the bulk purchase. Cam said: “Don’t be silly, why on earth would I do that? That’s the funniest thing I’ve ever heard.”...

    1 cockroach = 20,000 pounds
    1400 newspapers = 500 pounds
    International noteriety = priceless

I'm writing that down, just in case I end up going back to Britain.
