Turncoats ?!?

Could anyone explain to me why when fighting Numidians and not entirely destroying their army I get...*que the drumroll*...a Carthaginian Turncoat ?!? instead of a Numidian one???

This is with patch 1.3. I haven't had time to install 1.5 yet, besides I want to finish my current campaign before installing the patch.

Because Numidians belong to the Carthagian culture. You get a Greek turncoat for fighting Macedonians and Seleucids as well...

Ok, good to know, but does that mean that with my pseudo-Carthaginian turncoat I get bonuses when fighting Numidians (and so similarly for other nations, i.e. Greek Turncoat gives bonuses when fighting Seleucids)?

You can keep your current save games with patch 1.5. Saves originating from 1.2 and up are now able to be played after patching.
