Also most maps in which infantry is supposed to be able to shoot down aircraft come with static stinger launchers... something that took me a while to figure out... also redoing earlier levels and doing challenges helps boost the amount of stars and hence unlocks more weapons on the PS2.

I find that using assault rifles to shoot down parachuters from helos is a very easy way to increase kill count.

Also shotguns are as always way cool... but I don't think I have achieved a perfect score with a single magazine yet... eight shots/ eight kills.

The ability to hotswap between soldiers is a feature of the PS2 game (not sure if it is even available on PC) and is used in various challenge levels... if you don't hotswap enough to key points you might find it hard to pick up any teamplayer stars... unfortunately I play one of 3 styles, sniper, flanker or point... not in the middle gathering so called team player points...
Erm that doesn't sound like quite the same game to me - I think the two formats must be rather different.
