    Default Unit editings Q's

In this thread you can post your questions about editing units in RTW. Right now ill give you a few of mine.1 I'm wondering how to change faction/unit colors. For example make gallic colors black and red. Im wondering if i could give greeks some good swordsmen like so I can be like this when my enemy goes like this and ill laugh something like this .

In this entire _forum_ you can post questions about editing units in RTW - however first you should always check out the guides in the Scriptorium. For example this tutorial tells you all about adding a new unit to a faction.

To change faction colours is a big job, to change the banners follow this tutorial, to change the look on the battlefield you need to create new textures for each unit (follow this tutorial), to change the colours on the strat map you need to change the RGB numbers in descr_sm_factions,

You may even want to copy and paste your modding work into other word processing software, such as Microsoft Word. Word is definitely easier on the eye Then just copy and paste your finished results back into notepad (or wherever), save and close.

I tend to do this myself when I'm writing a long post on here, since your account will automtically log you out after a short period of time. At least then you have a backup of what you post, and can't lose anything after logging-in again, everyone knows how frustrating that is...
