Default Error with model - 3dsMax7 question

So I've made this model, finished mapping it all and adding all the bone weights. When I import animations into max to get a rough idea of how it looks everything goes well, no errors. But when I bring it into RTW, the texture gets 'swirly' around the arm-torso joints. I can't do anything about it and was wondering if someone knows if this is a fixable problem or if I've made a mistake somewhere in mapping, etc.???

I've tried remapping the entire torso and both arms and made sure there are no vertices weighted to the wrong bone several times.

Here is the model in max:

As you can see in the pose on the left, no swirly underarm texture. Here it is in-game:

    Can anyone help?

detach the arms as an element. the problem is the uvmapping doesnt quite translate right when you export.
