What a funny guy. His grandmother owned brothels and his mother worked there, he carried arond a lot of pain but dealt with it by making it all seem so funny.

Anybody who could light himself on fire then do a comedy routine about it, damn hilarious one at that.

I was sorry to hear of his demise, I hope he didn't suffer unbearably before he died. Funny as hell as Herman Smith, but I believe he was also a very gentle, amiable man.

He was my second favorite comedian. Only Johnathan Winters rates higher in my book. He could make white jokes that would leave me rolling on the floor. And his stories of how he set himself on fire while basing were truly funny. RIP you crazy nut.
