Their exact age wasn't my point. Even if it was a grown man it would still be insane to shoot them dead for throwing rocks. Unless they had a very stunted growth these looked like kids to me. Killing kids is not something that should even be debated.

Using lethal force would seem to be a little agressive, but rocks can kill people.

Last year around Christmas not more than 500 ft from where I work some kids threw a frozen turkey at a cars windshield and put the poor woman driving in the hospital in critical condition. She needed plastic surgerury and will never be the same. Look at the hole that rock put in the guys winshiled. Now imagine it came throught the side window and hit him in the head. What do you think would happen. I wonder if you were throwing rocks like that at a cop what hed do.

Just goes to show that you shouldn't ask an army to do a cop's work. Soldiers are neither equipped nor trained to round up and scare the bejeezus out of a bunch of juvenile Jihadis.

The soldiers are frustrated because there's no law and order. And they're not allowed to shoot children who throw rocks.

I smell your outrage Gawain, but do you have a proposed solution? Shooting kids would be a PR nightmare, whether it was justified or not.

Nah Im not in favor of shooting them and I dont think the guyn in the clip is either. Hes just frustrated, This isnt a common occurence . It just happens in this one area. I pretty much agree with Weebeast.

They're not just little kids. They are little kids who were designed to do the stuff that their parents agree with or support. It's is kinda sad actually. It's kinda like when parents told the kids to have circumcision.

Well, when they get older they'll be throwing something bigger.

Well isn't it lucky that the shortage of electricity has meant there have been no frozen turkey incidents in Iraq so fat.

The soldiers are frustrated because there's no law and order.
Strangely enough the people who live there in their own country are a little pissed at the lack of law and order .

By the way, I also don't condone shooting them. I'd probably throw rocks back at them. I don't do stuff to others that I don't want others do to me. Those kids seem mature enough to know that.

If a convoy with heavy machine guns don't scare them I doubt cops will. It seems to me people are just taking advantage. It's very effective though.

All "jokes" aside, the parents should be responsible for this. I mean you can't ignore stuff like this.

Do you know what hapens more often then soldiers getting killed by rocks thrown by little kids? Soldiers being torn apart by road side bombs. You so called "compassionate" conservatives really need a new name for yourselves.

EDIT: I'm sorry consevatives, I guess you are not ALL heartless bastards.

Well i sympathise with these soldiers, but they have to deal with it apparently.

If you put yourself in these kids shoes you'd also would want to throw some rocks at an occupying foreign force.

No I wouldn’t. I would run away and hide form the solders with the huge guns and stretched patience! This is a good example of why we are having such a difficult time over there, not even the kids have the same value for life.

I do agree with Weebeast that it is in part the parent’s responsibility but they it doesn’t seem like they can take care of anything else I wouldn’t expect them to take care their kids either. Doesn’t seem like our “harts and minds” tactics are working on everyone.
