Indeed, you have to be careful about using Wikipedia as a source. On most topics it's good as a quick and sloppy reference, but not something for serious debate. It's not usually too hard to notice when articles are biased, though; the bigger worries are ignorance and (occasionally, on infrequently-trafficked pages) hard-to-spot vandalism. Some of the more contentious pages have bazillions of references, too, which is nice.

Not that I have anything at all to do with Wikipedia.
I've read an article awhile ago saying Wikipedia will no longer be editable by regular people in the near future (not sure of the date).
