    Yeah, I've always wanted to play Halo on a giant map where there are massed armies of like 500 Spartans against each other. They would charge into battle with plasma swords...

    I'd pay pretty good money to be a part of that...

    if you want to play a large medieval combat game on current generation hardware, check out the kingdom under fire series for xbox. they are developed by the same company that's making the game pictured above (which is called ninety-nine nights, by the way). they basically play like a LOTR version of dynasty warriors with one major addition: you control all the other units like an rts. it's awesome, you send your cavalry charging in, order the archers to fire, cast spells, etc... but then when your officer's unit is engaged, you can control him and slaughter orcs yourself. i highly recommend the 2nd installment, kingdom under fire: heroes.

    Got the first, it is amazing. It takes a while to get used to, and I wish it was possible to pause the game to give orders, it is a bit overwhelming at times.
