    not far at all, you cant help but spend xmas at home on the isle of man
    When I was a child
    I caught a fleeting glimpse
    Out of the corner of my eye.
    I turned to look but it was gone
    I cannot put my finger on it now
    The child is grown,
    The dream is gone.
    I have become comfortably numb...

    I think it's about 1200 miles. I traveled by foot, train, subway, bus, plane, and car. And moving sidewalk.

    230 km by train to visit my parents.

    Looking forward to it as it seems that this Christmas my three brothers can all make it as well

    Now I have to translate Imperial to Metric... GAH!

    120 miles today, but now I'm back home, so is that 240 miles?

    193km = 120 miles
    386km = 240 miles

    San Diego is a mass of suburbs, always traveled by car. My parents live in a nearby suburb, and my wife and I will drive the 10 km to their house.

    No dashing through the snow, here. Thursday, the temperature was 24 C.

    That's where I'll be on my New Year celebration.

    I'm staying home waiting for Santa Claus, though. I don't think he'd like it if I just left the house empty.

    Edinburgh to Bordeaux was my travelling, but considering I normally live in Beijing...

    Call it 42. Units unspecified.
