Does anyone know of a way to play the game in campaign mode without having to do the cd swap ? I have played without using disk 2 and just leaving disk 1 in, but this causes some occasional problems. Anyone know how to get around the cd swap ?

I usually swap to CD 2 when the game is loaded, before the first choice in the menu.

With this, you can save.... mmmmm ....
    2 - 5 seconds. Great no?

This is something that isn't supposed to work, but does work on my system. I have the normal CD drive and a CD-RW drive. Put a disk in each and walla no more swapping. I thought I read somewhere that STW wouldn't support dueling CDs. The only thing is the first time I play the game after putting both CDs in it doesn't recocognize the second CD initialy. When the insert second CD screen comes up, I have to hit the OK button and then it will go to the second CD for the rest of the game.

Curiouser and curisor. I have a DVD drive and CDRW drive and duel quite happily. It knows they are both there all the time and never gives me any grief at all. Except for the DVD throne room crash every once in a while. Grrrrr.

Hey "whyidie", if you don't have the space for a full install just hit cancel when it asks for disc two, and it defaults to your strategic map. You won't be able to meet with traders, view ninja antics, etc. until you put in the 2nd disc, but you can use the strategic map & fight battles.

Okay, I just HAVE to correct something here.

    JoBeare: it's "viola", not "walla".

I know, I know... it's French. It ought to be spelt like it sounds, but it's not. And it's just really annoying to see things like that.

It's voila, not viola, which is a musical instrument...

It could be that JoBeare is ahead of the game. He could be using the Hindi derivative and referring to us as "chaps" (thanks Jebus for dictionary.com)

BTW, I went with full install option and that did the trick. Thanks again to all who replied.
