The monitor is fine. If I can take screenies of it, it's not the monitor. Looks just like when I tried and failed to sfftmod it. One of the pipelines has gone or something. I'll try reinstalling drivers, but I suspect it's going to need new hardware. Ah well. An excuse to buy something new to run Fear better!
Hah, reinstalled drivers and now the desktop is fine. Playing Fear still destroys everything though. *sigh*

Heat problem?
I had an old Geforce2 that would scramble & lock up whenever I ran high-end(at the time) games. I was able to alleviate it by mounting a slot fan along side the vid card.
