    Default Captives and routing enemies...

hello to all u generals out there!!!
i' ve played all the of total war series(liked them all)..and loved Medieval total war and it's expansion...
Now that i've throughly played Rome Total war, and barbarian invasion's, i notice that there is something i loved in medieval total war but is missing in Rome... in medieval, you could take prisioners during battle, and later ransom them or execute them, but now in rome i can't do that..which leaves me with a strange sensation...i t just doesnt feel right.. the Romans did take prisioners, and although i don't think they ransomed the captives, i think there should be a option to release them or to press the captives into slavery(something romans did frequently)
And as i have awakened to the modding reality with other games(such as POTC, and UT series), i wonder if there is a mod that allows me to capture enemy soldiers, and to give them destiny..cause it just doesnt feel real to kill every routing enemy, i don't think romans would do that always..i feels more right to kill everyone in medieval total war, after all in the dark ages the knights weren't more then armored barbarian thugs with a nobility title..
i don't know if this is the right section of the forum(hope so ), but would like to know if there is such a mod, or if it is being developed, and where i can download it if already existing...
thank for your time in advance!!!

I'm afraid that it is not possible with Rome engine. Very unfortunate. I liked that feature alot in Medieval and I would of course love to see it in Rome, but I dont think it can be done.

It could maybe be scripted in the conditionals for it are there, It would not be exactly like MTW but you could do something similar. Duke John was thinking of using it for this mod.
When it occurs to a man that nature does not regard him as important and that she feels she would not maim the universe by disposing of him, he at first wishes to throw bricks at the temple, and he hates deeply the fact that there are no bricks and no temples
