No...
We had an hour or so of sleet this morning, and an hour or so this afternoon.
No...
We had an hour or so of sleet this morning, and an hour or so this afternoon.
It was not theirs to reason why,
It was not theirs to make reply,
It was theirs but to do or die.

We never get snow...I tell you, Cumbria, Merseyside, Dublin, Dumfries, Galloway, North Wales, Northern Ireland and Anglesey can all be covered in snow and the isle of man will not be touched, it's a christmas conspiracy!
When I was a child
I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown,
The dream is gone.
I have become comfortably numb...

I'm quite close to the south coast, and we haven't had any.

We just got blasted. Days and days of it. Now it's supposed to rain on Thursday so everyone is freaking out and screaming for us to shovel their roof before three tons of snow turns into six tons of wet concrete.
Backbreaking work but it pays well.

Thats what i dont get, comparing countries that have snow all the time, like Canada, and countries that have snow 1 day a year, like the isle of man.
You guys carry on with your normal lives, but we get an inch and not even cars are on the road

Slight snow this morning, but wasn't awake to see it. Far away from home for
the last week, and won't be back for a while yet. We don't usually get anything
too heavy until February. [Having said that, last couple of years have been
snowed in from Christmas Eve on to the New Year.]
Would say the novelty wears off reasonably quickly, unless you like to wrap
yourself up in that elusive spirit of Christmas I hear about every so often.
