There is a little inaccuracy on map according to names of baltic tribes. City names may be ok, but land names are wrong. In the place of Sembu Gentys C. Tacitus mentioned Aestiorum Gentes (Latin term, Tribes of Aistians), on the map is mentioned medieval tribe in wrong gramar form. If you trying to make reconstruction or something of Baltic language, then it should be Sembun Gentes (plural, Sembian Tribes) or Sembun Gentis (singular, Sembian tribe).

Budinije should be spelled as Budinia or Budinija

and Nurije as Neuria or Neurija, and city - Neurijas Gordos (City of Neurija), Neurias Gordos...

Hi, Velnias :) I remember you from that debate on Istorija :) Still, for the sake of other readers, I'll write where we got the names from.
The debate died out on main forum, but went on in private messages, and these are the names we eventually came up with. I wouldn't want to get into that whole thing again here, since, as I remember, there was a lot of controversy about the proper grammar endings, and your opinion was not the only one given there...

The names are a result of a very long (and heated) debate on Istorija.net forums a couple of months ago. The link is here: http://www.istorija.net/forums/threa...d=24833#M24833 We tried to reflect the difference between east- and west-baltic families here, which was supposedly already present at the time - which is why the two baltic provinces use slightly different grammar forms.
(wait till you see what we came up with for unit names :)

These are not reconstructions of Baltic languages, but rather primitive proto-slavic (as I decided to follow the allochtonic theory, since, well, we had to chose _something_ for the game, and allochtonic just seemed neater) (I know it may sound anachronistic for 270BC, but remember that by that time the split between slavic and baltic branches already occured, so it would seem the proto-slavic family were already "somewhere") - and we discussed the location of Neuri on that forum also. The endings may be still changed if you (or someone) can find better sources on PS grammar than I could.
    I'm still not here

Well, sembu gentys is modern Lithuanian and Latvian variant form, not west Baltic. West Baltic feature was that they had ending -an in Genitive Plural of a-stem nouns. So then it should be "Semban Gentis".

An updated map for the upcoming patch: 0.7.3 beta, I believe.

If you want the really detailed versions you can still get them from the first post above, but they don't have some of the changes. They are still for 0.7.2 beta.

Only major new name changes include:
    Tripolitania province is now Syrthim
    Massylim province is now Mashiliem

Let me know if something doesn't match up. There are still some changes coming when Meneldil gets a little more time, but they won't be incorporated until our next release, when we will probably be changing Blemmyes to Ptolemais Theron, on the red sea coast, and we will be changing Nikomedia to Nikaia, as well as more terrain changes and refinements by Stormy.

    Default EB 0.8 Maps

Here are both our 'antique' and 'plain' versions of the 0.8 map. They are almost all correct, but one province change at Gaetulia is there in the big map (it is neglible in the way it works though). I'll include 'small' (hehe) versions and large ones (high quality and detailed). The small ones are on the thumbnails below (hosted by imageshack), but the large ones are (for now) downloadable through our website. These might be good to keep on your desktop for easy 'preview' viewing (i.e., save them instead of using our bandwith over and over please), or you could print them out if you're particularly insane.

    Here are the files:

That's right! Never again call the master with with his divine name. Mortals should always use the temple name.
