I know this is the least of your worries, but I figured it would be nice to point out this error.
I assume the writer meant "at once" rather than "as once"

To save face, I would suggest that everyone consider this the typo thread.
So if you see any text errors or unit description problems, take a screen shot and post them in here.
( I know I'm not on the team but this seems like a logical thing to do )
We would like to have a special description of what 'spring' was and meant to the Sweboz. Also the name they called it by. That would go in this space.
For the time being the trait is there to trigger many other things that you don't see going on.
We really need some high quality text work done for Sweboz...
There is also a small typo in the description of the basic academy building of the Carthaginians, the word Phoenician is spelled as Pheonician the second time.
as I said, simply screen shot the errors and put them here in this thread, so this thread doesnt go to waste =)
I've noticed spelling errors in the unit description for the mercenary hoplites and phalantagies when playing as the Koinon Hellenon. Will post screenies later.

Just to note here, that's a placeholder model. I think Aymar is doing the new one, with a more properly sized sword; it's just a longsword held in two hands. That one is a bit big.Originally Posted by the_handsome_viking

Those big swords are pretty cool, but the blade doesn't match the sheeth.Originally Posted by Ranika

So i guess this is the right place to report typos? Because I found two (or ectually the same one twice)
In both of them it says "the hability to hide" wich I think should be the ability to hide. Also, in both of them it says constitued wich I think should be constituted, allthough i'm not 100% sure on that one since english isn't my first language and all that. Since the piece of text these typos are in seems to be used for all iberian units, those typos would probably be in all of them. I did not check that though.

There are some more typos in the desciption of the Scutarii:
1) the word soliferum is put in [ i ] [ / i ] bracket
2) when it refers to their sword, the first time it reads: gladius hispanniensis, the second time gladius hipanniensis, one of these is (obviously) wrong (but, personally, I wouldn't know ;))
3) right after it reads gladius hipanniensis, it reads "were custom build to suit the harms lenght", which is guess should be "were custom build to suit the arms lenght"
4) it reads "the hability to hide" instead of ability to hide (at the same location as the above screenshots)
5) before number 2, it misspels battlefield as battelfield
[edit] here is a picture to make things more clear:
errors are underlined with red, I also put a vertical red line where a new paragraph should begin
[/edit]
(numbers 3, 4 and 5 are also present in the above screenshots, it looks like somebody just copied the same desciption to these three units ;))

I'm the guy tasked with going through the text files en-masse in search of typos, and this kind of assistance is VERY MUCH appreciated! In particular, errors such as "harm length" and "as once" are not going to show up in a typical spell check search, so please continue to post screen shots of all such problems.Originally Posted by the_handsome_viking
Don't think of this as nit-picking or minor - it is ALL valuable!

Ok, some basic spelling errors and typo's to report =)
As you can see it says an "8' spear" which I assume was meant to be "8'foot spear" or "8'ft spear".
"Ocasional" should be "occasional" and once again the famous "Harms length" problem creeps up.
If you ask me, the 'harms length' could actually be correct, a sort of built in joke.Originally Posted by the_handsome_viking

Nice link!! Those chicks are cute! Uh....where was I...? Oh yeah:Originally Posted by the_handsome_viking
The single apostrophe is the symbol for "feet", as the double apostrophe (quote) is the symbol for inches. So the text is correct.
Fixed and fixed. Thanks."Ocasional" should be "occasional" and once again the famous "Harms length" problem creeps up.

What about the other seasons? Is Westgermanic like Proto-germanic or whatever language we're using for Sweboz?Originally Posted by Teutobod II

https://www.europabarbarorum.com/fac...tae_units.html
I was just looking at the unit descriptions on the Europa Barbarorum website and I noticed this error in the Early Sarmatian Nobles unit description.
I assume it's supposed to be] "They are, however, neither suitable nor prepared to frontally charge any decent close order infantry."They are, however, suitable nor prepared to frontally charge any decent close order infantry.
I think there's a 'selled' where there should be 'sold' in one of the Roman building descriptions, I'll post a screenshot when I find it again.

This problem was in the game description, too. I had already inserted the grammatically correct "not suitable or prepared", but yours sounds a bit more poetic - fixed.Originally Posted by the_handsome_viking
P.S. I don't handle spelling/grammar for the EB website, but did pass along your recommendation.
I made a search for "selled", but nothing came up - so it's probably already been fixed.Originally Posted by Orb
Probably. But at this stage of the edit, I'm only fixing things that are definitely wrong. For example, there are probably 8 different words for "Carthage", but I'm not messing with those either. (Unless they really meant to say "Pontos")Originally Posted by Simetrical
