    Default EB Screenies

Bit biased on the Celtic stuff myself ....

    Some examples of EB Celts:

    Regionally accurate Standard Bearers

    Regionally accurate Officers

    Regionally accurate Generals

    Regionally accurate Mercenaries

    Regionally accurate Units

Well apparently, the 'Gauls', inventors of soap, found hair below the head unclean and so shaved it off... So no chest hair i think might be accurate... Except for those drug abusing fanatic psychopaths who fight with it all hanging out... I wouldn't think they cared very much for cleanliness...

By the way, how are the .com forums since your kid moderator banned my IP, Psycho?

Quite right there mate, the Gauls would shave every part of their body bar their head / face. Very different to other peoples like the Germans etc

Ah nothing really... To be honest i can't even remember... Wait... I made a thread in the off topic forum, then i came back to make a post in that thread which i spent rather a long time typing... Only to find that when i clicked submit reply my post had been moved to another forum which obviously i was outraged at, me having a short temper and all and also i didn't believe that it was just to move my thread, twas in the right forum... People over there seem to have fun provoking me to see what happens, obviously something which Mablung decided he would do so he could ban me and my IP...

No matter though, i'd had enough with that place anyway... I spend lots of my time in the help forum typing long and detailed responses to help people with problems they're having in the game, even sometimes taking screenshots to make my explanation more easy to understand, and the thanks i get from the rest of the 'regulars' there is to provoke me, get me banned and then nip over to Ducks forum and have a good laugh about it...

On topic anyhow i just thought i'd congratulate you on whatever part you had in making EB, i've been enjoying it immensely for the past few days and i see myself enjoying it for a long time to come... Most definately the best mod i've encountered for the game so far and i truly believe that unless some other mod team spend 2 years on developing a mod then EB will always be the top banana of mods for RTW.

you were banned 5 times! and that was only due to your own inappropriate behaviour. stop blaming others.

oh yeah sorry, 4 bans, 5 accounts.
i don't know what i should be grateful for Dayve. there are plenty of people that were just as helpful, if not more.

for every helpful post (tbh, i never witnessed a single one myself) you made 3 abusive and/or inflamatory posts.

you can't expect to be allowed to behave the way you want just because you gave somebody a link to unlock all the factions in RTW.

you weren't a valuable addition to the community, you were a burden, since many threads derailed (like this one) thanks to your behaviour and bad attitude. you know, it really doesn't hurt to respect people.

i will now lay off and let the thread go back on-topic, and i hope you will too Dayve.

    sorry

Next post on this gets deleted, and this gets locked.

I can't see how this has anything to do with EB. Take it to PM.

Maybe they are noob pirates... When they've finished their fleet and realise they can't go anywhere with it they'll say... "Aw shnit"... I did it in Age of Empire: Age of Kings once... Built up a big expensive fleet and realised it was in a small piece of water like in that picture... And you know what i said? Aw shnit...

To the contrary, Gaesatae were high class mercenaries; a warrior elite who had likely already had copious experience in their youth as regular soldiers. They weren't just random fanatics, they were skilled, very wealthy veterans. Their torcs and bangles were said by Romans to often be made of gold or silver, rather than bronze, copper, or iron; such expensive jewelry was usually the realm of aristocracy or noblity. In their off time, they would live rather luxurious lives, and surely had a concern for their cleanliness.

It is unnerving this concerns so many. If you really want to know, I suppose, yes, most likely, they would remove all body hair, including there, since they considered it all dirty.

Bah, what a useless expense! If you have enough body hair, you can put a lot of hair fixer on it and wait till it gets hard. Then you have a natural 'chainmail' against slashing weapons. And small animals living in hair, if well trained, can be used as "war louses" that will jump to attack and bite the enemy just before the clash.

    Soap...gah!

It would be cool if they got errections when they did war cries.
