    Gawain,

My condolences and sympathy for you and your family. I can't think of anything more that would help that I can say at a time like this for you, but I wish I could.

You, your brother, and family are in my thoughts Gawain.

I lost my wife last march, and I discovered that time is very odd as it decays and yet restores your strength when you lose someone close to you.

Don't know if this will help, but I like to think that she is with me even though she is without body.

All the best, I am off to have a quiet cry.

Gawain, I've thought about this for a long time. At first I was going to write in an angry fashion hoping for vengeance. I then looked some things up about your brother and found that he seemed to be a very nice man, I became more saddened than angered.

I really don't know what to type but felt that I should comment.

I hope that you are all doing as well as you can be. I'm very sorry to hear about this.

Well we buried him yesterday. At least that brought some closure. Still no word on who did this.

I then looked some things up about your brother and found that he seemed to be a very nice man
That is an understatement, The only time he ever fought with anyone was with me when we were kids. He was totally non violent and a great muscian and artist. There wasnt a kinder man on the face of this earth.

Crimes of this nature are among the most despicable and only punishable by death IMO. I lost a friend to a violent act some years ago. I can only hope the police will find the murderer(s) and justice will be swift and final.

It grieves me to hear of this. Do all you can. Be strong. For your brother.

I am terribly sorry to hear of your loss, Gawain. Some people act as a shining inspiration to us all and it sounds like your brother was one of them. May the memories of his qualities warm and strengthen you.

Just read your tragic news. The death of a family member is bad at anytime, but in these swift, savage circumstances, it must be tough beyond belief - especially as your brother sounds the sort of person we would all like to know.
Hopefully by sharing your tradegy with us will help - I am sure the thoughts of everybody in our cyber community are with you.

Well of course Im still mighty depressed. We had a meeting with the detectives last night and their still lost on the matter. It would really help if they can catch whoever this was or at least say they have some idea. Live however must go on. I lost another brother when I was 11 and he was 6 right in front of my eyes. Its not something you get used to I guess. But this ones certainly not as bad as at least he had 55 good years.

Again I thank you all for your prayers and good wishes.

Gawain, I know we have had our differences, and it is quite possible that you hate me, but regardless, you have my deepest sympathies. Als, be careful, this is the kind of thing that can destroy a person's psyche, so watch your depression carefully. As wierd as it sounds, I would suggest you stay away from your computer until you are feeling better- it is very unhealthy for treating depression, and can even make it worse. Trust me, I know.

my condolensences (sp?) as well, I shall add you to my current list of people to pray for, and don't worry, I try to pull the thing out 5 times a day. I know what it feels like to lose a sibling, I lost my sister to a misscarriage, however I was only 2-3 years old and it was not in any way like losing someone to a murder. I can see that men die when their time is up on this otherwise pathetic planet, and that alone is alot of pain and suffering. But for someone to die at the hands of a cold blooded jackass who just wants to be the topdog like all the drug dealer/serial killers in the CSI shows would go beyond the line for me, I wouldn't be weeping sad, I would be steaming PISSED.

If this world was Star Wars and I lost someone I'm close to to a ghetto a-hole that thinks he's the best cause he's got a stupid gun, I would definatley be drifting, as yoda would say "too close to the dark side you are"

Oh please. I hate verry few people and certainly no one on these boards would fall into that category.

If you ever get around to getting NTW I'm sure you could get some more games in. We have them daily.
