    Default Base farming levels

Hi everyone!! Is it a bug or sth else... i've noticed base farming levels change even if i don't do anything in the settlement (build nor recruit). for example I had base farming level 240 (average harvest) and in the next turn it was only 160 in the same settlement. Anyone??

Did you have a governor? I suppose he could'vd gotten some terrible vice that severely lowered his acumen.

I'm not certain, but I think that the quality of the harvest varies from year to year, so even in a very fertile area you can occasionally get bad harvests.

It depends on the game, but in R:TW harvest indeed vary from region to region. In S:TW, harvest vary from season to season and in both S:TW and M:TW local disasters can decrease harvest.

I have governor in this settlement, I haven't changed anything in this settlement, only pressed the End Turn button.

But accidentaly I've noticed something interesting - I've saved the game just before ending the turn - the base farming level of the forementioned settlement has 240 denari income. And when I add recruitment of the Town watch in another settlement then in the next turn the base farming level of this first settlement changes to 160!! but when i don't do anything and just press the end turn button then the farming level stays at 240 (it of course sometimes changes by +/- 5% due to harvest changes poor/average/excellent but the base farming stays). is it a bug or I'm missing something? thanks in advance

Maybe the support cost of the units that you've trained are deduced from that town's income?
