    Default European Medieval Music

I was listening to master Jeff Van Dyck 's MTW soundtrack as usual and came up with the question : In which language does the chorus sings it epically ? I'm not sure whether it is Latin. Are they (hymns? or what are they called?) generally sung in a specific language or there is not such custom with the language used ?

Any kind of general info on them would be helpful please

I'd hazard a guess that they would be in Latin if they actually are medieval hymns.

this may be of interest (yeah, I know it's wikipedia but I can't imagine there being too much bias on this subject).

AFAIC determine Van Dyke's music implements chorus samples. "Oooh"s and "Aaah"s.

As for European Medieval Music, this is the best online place you can find:

The music is Latin, but not Gregorian chanting (IIRC, Gregorian chanting is not accompanied by music, but the soundtrack is).
