Default Question, would also help other people.

    Hello guys,
    A) OK, let's say we have atleast two units done for each faction by, let's say, our mod "Knights and Kings" but we want to delete all other vanilla units so only our costum medieval units stay. Last time i tried this it messed up my RTW,please if you know the answer PLEASE HELP !

    B) Here is the 2nd question: For BI can I add 2-->3 videos as the intro for the game, in RTW you could add 2 but BI has one. What if i want to make 3 or 2 videos for RTW-BI intro?

C)This took me LOADS of experperements but still couldnt work, can i apply 2 models for ONE unit, if you could try and experiment our comunity would benifit from this question.

D)Creating unique kinds of projectiles and implementing them to a model, ofcourse also a unique texture for the projectile...

" Bang, Bam, Crack! "ARRGH!" BAM!!! " This will happen to me and most of you who wanna know the answers, if our expermiments fail!

    THANKS!

I'm not sure quite what you're getting at here - if you mean you want to have a unit made up of more than one model then yes you can by adding officer lines in edu. If you want a 'mixed' unit with many soldiers using different models then no you can't. If you want a single soldier to swap between two models at different times then no you can't do that either.

You can do it. You just have to be careful that you leave no traces of the vanilla units.

You can make unique projectiles and you can make as many as you want with as many different effects as you want however each unit can only use one projectile (aside from archers with both normal and flaming arrows).

I think each projectile can have two effects.
I did flaming javelins in the same way as flaming arrows, and I think it would be possible to make also flaming projectiles for slingers.

However, I don't know if it would be possible to make a "non-flaming" second projectile as special ability for any unit.
I was thinking into a second type of slinger projectile with different range, and killing rate, as it was in reality at least for balearic slingers.

Yes you can. Just change the flame effect in the "flaming" one. Technically it will still get the flame icon in the UI but the secondary attack can be anything (missile), really.

Thanks, but can you change the icons of the RTW icon, like instead of the torn BI flag, make youre own?

    Sure you can.
Look in Data\ui\roman\interface (packed in the original, use xpak). There you have several tga files with all the buttons that can be changed.

Please, correct me if I'm wrong.
In case I put a second type of missile, let's say bullet and death-bullet, for slingers, the only variation I could find is the lethality (or accuracy) of the second, together with speed and angle (all of them coded in descr_projectile_new), but not the distance or the stats (coded in export_descr_unit), as both projectiles are considered in the primary weapon.

Maybe you mean 2 factions with the same unit but with a different model for it. Just create 2 entries for those models, like 'warrior1' and 'warrior2'.

Yep. No go on distance and other stats but you can get lethality bonus and angle.

for icons you need photoshop or similar program, and download an .ICO plugin.
