Default Question About Historical Accuracy of Film

In my AP European History class, there was an extra credit opportunity offered that required me to watch the movie Master and Commander and analyze the historical accuracy of the film (battle tactics used, quality of French and British fleets at that time, etc). I know that many of the posters here are very knowledgeable about this kind of stuff so I was hoping to get some opinions on the accuracy of the film. I don't need long responses just a few quick notes here and there would be great. I'm off to read about Napoleonic Warfare now. Thanks!

Sorry about the double post but I didn't realize I had been promoted so this thread would probably be better off in the Monastery.
