Default BI starting map for Roman factions

Hi guys - just a thought:

I know its a bit nitpicky but in BI when playing as one of the two Roman factions, wouldn't it be better if the other factions map wasn't invisible? If not, at least in the beginning of the game the player should start out with a view of the other faction's map as it seems a little bit unrealistic that the emperor of one half of the Roman world would have no idea about anything on the other half.

I guess that kind of makes sense. I think it can be modded. If I remember right the EB mod has certain provinces show up for certain factions. If you were gaul you'd probably know about Rome for instance but maybe not the stuff inbetween. I haven't tried the mod yet myself so I'm assuming.

Not only for the Roman factions, but with any faction you had trade rights with or as an ally. A year by year learning of the map would be normal as trade developed and the longer the alliance lasted.
