Thread: Mature reflection

    Default Mature reflection

On a more mature reflection I must compliment the EB team on what they have achieved so far, playing as the Romans I initially thought it was slightly to easy but as of this moment I am stuck in Italy with a toehold in Greece my legions are rushing around like fire breakers with my economy not to solvent though I made a few mistakes developing my cities with the new governing buildings (great idea) I believe these are not functioning correctly for the Romans yet? End result I have allowed to develop, powerful enemies.

The game speed though I thought was initially to fast for the infantry, but because of the excellent work done balancing the units helps the AI make every large battle a reasonable challenge and a real sense of achievement when you win.

Add to this the commitment of the EB team to historical accuracy, which as a history buff (though without the detailed knowledge of this period that the team have) I am enjoying the improvements that this mod brings to RTW and look forward to further ones down the road. I hope CA take note of what you can achieve even when you are constrained.

Just in case anyone gets a big head in EB which I couldn’t really imagine? Come on with the Roman banners.

Just jump into the data/models/textures folder and swap the names around for the julii and seleucid banners. That'll make you happy if you fight a lot of battles.

Certainly will do that and will come back with more constructive criticism in the future.
