    Just do what I did: take it off the wall PULL OUT EVERY BATTERY (don't put anything back in) and put it back up on the wall as a decoration

    Smoke Alarms...you put your life in the hands of man-made machines?

    I set aside a score of my personal monkey servants to monitor the house for a fire...

    Well woopdy-doo. My monkey servants were killed in the fire last year because I had no smoke detectors. So nyaaaaaa......
