    Default anyone know how to fix rome/seleucid switch problem?

    Hi I was just wondering if anyone knows which specific files I need to fix the problem with the Romani and seleucid banners and voices being switched problem.

    I realize that the EB team has more important bugs to fix than this simple little thing. If anyone can tell me the files that got switched I'll just do it myself.

    I love playing as the Romans and the wrong voices and banners just irk me and kills my immersion.

    There are three files in there I think that look like they might be the ones. You have to swap two of them. I forget for sure which ones they are, but they look like they are standard_seleucid.tga.dds and standard_romans_julii.tga.dds.

    You'll have to live with the voices being different for now - it's the result of our culture swap and we just haven't had anyone with the time to rename the files yet.

    The switch from the Seleucids to the Romani isn´t only a problem about graphics and audio.

    The game engine still considers the Romani as belonging to the "greek family". That means the Romani don´t get a culture penalty when occupying a greek city. Conquer the Epirote city Taras and you will see it.

    I´ve mentioned this before in another thread but I am not sure if anyone has taken notice.

    well there's nothing we can do about it. Same with Ptolemies and Pontos. Same with Casse and Getai. Same with Hayasdan and Baktria. Same with Yuezhi and Pahlava. There are huge differences in these cultures that mean they share portraits (and the Yuezhi, Pahlava, and Sauromatae also are restricted to share portraits with Pontos and Ptolemies) and other things. There is nothing we can do about it in 1.2. We just have to deal with it for the time being.

    That definately fixed the banner problem, thx a bunch!
    I can live with the voices thing as long as my banners proudly display roman might hehe.

    One good thing that came about from this for me though, I didn't want to play romans as my first played faction yet, as I normally do when I play a new mod for RTW. This gave me a chance to experience some of the great work you guys have done on the other factions. I am thoroughly enjoying my Casse campaign. Those guys are pretty fun. :)

    We really do sincerely want people to try the immersion thing with some of the other factions, and hopefully learn a lot about them too. Forget about your pet ones and how they fight/build/etc. and try something totally different.
