Pontos probably bribed it away before your romans took it. The scripts place a type (type1 here) and it only takes the description based on who controls the province (the scripts don't go and pick the image and description). That's the pontos type1 image and description for sure. Any idea if pontos bribed the province away and lost it then? Then bribed it and lost it? Then bribed it and lost it?

I saw Ptolemies take one of those northernmost provinces recently by bribing after all.

Yes, Pontus had bribed that province a couple of times. That wasn't really the point, though - the point was that it is rather odd that Scandinavia would be considered Pontic home territory...
