    Default Poker on T.V.

Have any of you watched those shows? I find those players to be impressive. I really like the guy who has been winning that game for months. He knows when to make a large bet. There are many times when he gets bad cards like the rest of the players. When he feels lucky, he bets nearly all his money on the table. There was a young guy who nearly beat him, but the champion was luckier.

I don't gamble because I know lots of people close to me who lost lots of money through that. There is one uncle who is a good poker player, but he wins very little money from it. On a good day (which rarely happens), he only wins about $200.

If I could play as well as the pros on t.v., then I'd be having a good time in the comforts of hotels in Las Vegas or Reno. Plus, this champion has good clothes, unlike my perception of most gamblers. It beats my life as a salesman. I sell lumber, doors, windows, etc. from a warehouse. I entered that job thinking that I could wait for someone to buy our stuff. It turns out that I have to go to them and beg for them to buy our lumber. I have always been annoyed with door-to-door salesmen but now I've become like them. I had more dignity as a carpenter.

I thought it was weird at first. They even have commentators.
I've been to Las Vegas with my relatives and I liked the place, though. I wonder how it would be like to live there, and travel when I have enough money.

don't watch it, and well never really had the opportunity to do so - watching a big match on the TV - since we don't really get those poker matches broadcasted in Holland.

I do occaisionly play the game wth friends always loads of fun.

I played it with my friends by having the losers drink whiskey. That was fun.

It works. Great to be able to say that you are from Las Vegas though.

I have to say, while poker is interesting, it is better to play than watch.

I watch it on TV from time to time. You learn a lot from watching how they play different hands and how they bet/bluff.

More fun to play it though.
