Default A little trick to get the annoyingly long splash screen.

You know when you start the game, you see this screen with lots of boring stuff, which can't be skipped? This is easily fixed. to get rid of the screen, just do this. Right-click on your RTW icon and press properties. Then click go to target or something to that effect. Then you see the file for RTW with all the data. Go to the file, Data. Then find a file called "fmv" Then delete the Activision logo video along with the "rome_title" file. Once that's done, that's you. Hope this tip is useful!

If I was smart, I would have a witty punchline in this sig that would make everyone ROTFL.

    I'm not smart.

It is better to rename the files rather than delete them - you might want them back later.

You can add -nm to the target line in the shortcut and that should do the same. Like : "D:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW.exe" -nm

No, I mean the bit at the start which you can't skip, THEN it goes onto the vids.

This picture with all the credits stuff that you have to gaze at about half a minute? Now, getting rid of that certainly would be nice.
