    Default I've been assimilated...

...and become one of the minority that have abandoned IE for good! I was quite impressed with Opera (someone hacked our school network and installed Opera and Firefox on the school PC's) and have decided to download Opera onto my home computer. I'm already noticing 90% less buggyness, and 74% less craptasticness!
I especially like the tabbed browsing thing. It's very handy. No more going to the start menu for me! I just click on the new page button in the corner and 'wham' a new page. And it has a google search bar!
Also, their promises about no more pop-ups seem to be true. I've already visited two websites today that are usually jammed full of pop-ups, and i got nothing!

    I wuv my Opera 8.5!

So, who else has joined the 'lol evil microsoft hax' bandwagon and downloaded an alternative browser?

P.S The .Org needs a little picture for its tab.

You will learn to love Opera. No more sneaky .exe downloads. You WILL love this browser. That I promise. Welcome to the enlightened.
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

I've recently been converted to Firefox. Beats IE hands down.

What size would work best? And is there a link where such instructions are provided?

Maybe this guy, squished some more.

Or with IE you could have just went windows key + N and bham a new page.

At work I am limited to using IE... profiles and all.

I have Mozilla on my computer, but I don't have internet and because my dad deletes programs at random I've resigned myself to using IE on this machine. Though I have to say I don't like or use tabs...

I'm very psyched -- the IT department at my new techie job has a "no Internet Explorer" policy, due to security concerns. Firefox comes pre-loaded, and you can ask for any other browser you like, so long as it's not IE.

Let's hear it for with-it IT departments!
