EB Crash to desktop

Im new to this mod so forgive me if this issue has already been resolved elsewhere, i have tried looking for an answer but havent found one. Heres my problem:
EB loads fine
1.I choose to start a new campaign
2.I select a faction
3.the campaign begins to load and the progress bar finishes
4.the screen then turns black and the game crashes to desktop.
i have no idea what went wrong. i uninstalled then reinstalled rome total war, manually copied the 1.2 update into the RTW folder, installed europa barbarorum. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

I had a problem that is remotely like that. I was trying to load my epeiros campaign and it would start loading. Everything as working as normal, but when it finished loading, instead of going to my Epeiros campaign it went back to the main screen when you first load up EB.
