Aaarrgghh....can't play EB

I've downloaded the mod, installed it, and now whenever I try to use the shortcut, I get this "browsing" message telling me it's trying to find "RomeTW.exe". That has been the extent of my EB playing experience so far......inordinate amounts of frustration. Has anybody else encountered this/know what to do?

As background info, I recently uninstalled Barb Invasion to make way for this mod. Before that I "uninstalled" RTR 6.3.

Any and all help in fixing this problem would be appreciated.

I can tell you how to fix it right now... It'll take 20 minutes or so though...

Uninstall RTW, delete RTW from the activision folder, look in your registry for any RTW links, delete those... Restart ze machine, install RTW, add the 1.2 patch, install EB to it, restart again... There ya go.

Hmm...

First, you will need to unistall the entire game...

Then reinstall RTW...

You will now have a vanilla 1.0 version.

You will need the 1.2 to correctly play EB.

Download and install the 1.2 patch.

This may not work, as your computer will think that the patch has been installed already.

Two ways to fix this problem. 1) clean out your registry (not recommened) or 2) download a zip version of the 1.2 patch and then simply manually install the patch by overwriting the files.
