    Default Government Types

    Two questions:
Will some one on the EB crew release a list or a more detailed description of the various government types and their benefit after the patch or whenever they have free time?

Why do towns that have the potential to build higher government types, such as Corinth for the Macedonians which starts at 3 but can be destroyed and rebuilt for 2, begin at lower levels?

10 bucks says the answer is beacause that more closely matches the actual Government in 272 BC and the the level two is possible because the type changed before 14 AD.

It mostly has to do with which faction you're playing as, and how feasable the different levels of development are for them in that particular region. Late last year, the team pretty much settled on which types of governments different factions could build in different regions... so, whatever you might have encountered, has a fair chance of being different after the patch.
"It is an error to divide people into the living and the dead: there are people who are dead-alive, and people who are alive_alive. The dead-alive also write, walk, speak, atc. But they make no mistakes; only machines make no mistakes, and they produce only dead things. The alive-alive are constantly in error, in search, in questions, in torment." - Yevgeny Zamyatin
