    Default Descr_geography question

    Hey.
You've done great work on this mod. It's very enjoyable.
There's one thing I'm wondering about.
You've managed to add a new climate in the descr_geography that works ingame. How did you manage to do this? I thought it was nearly impossible to add new climates unless you could change the descr_geography.db file?
If so, could you describe what you've done?

    Anyone?
If you've found a way to do this, you should at least tell us, or give us a hint. It's quite important for some mods.

I've asked our map people to help you out here. eadingas is probably the one who worked on this.

Looks like there are 3 sections of the file changed from vanilla. Everything after
    Code:
    inaccessable modifies default
looks completely new. Also, a couple of lines earlier in the file have been changed:

    old
    Code:
    texture env_map battlefield/envmaps/grass.dds
    has been changed to
    Code:
    texture env_map battlefield/envmaps/desert.dds

Ah! the Generals! they are numerous, but not good for much (especially if they're Languorous)!

Thanks for your help but I already know this.
What I'm asking is how you got it ingame?
Because the game won't regenerate the descr_geography.db file, that the game reads the descr_geography.txt file from. This is a big problem for me. I would really like some more climates ingame. Did you manage to change the .db file or did you find a way to regenerate it?

    Thanks for all your help.
    It's most appreciated.

Hmm, I'm not sure. It looks like we didn't touch that db. We use the same one that existed in vanilla.

Hmm.. Ok. And still you got the climate to show up perfectly both at the campaign map and the battle map?
