Chuck Norrilogy is easily the best class to take, you will learn about the "Chuck", his fighting styles, Walker Texas Ranger, and how his life and lessons he taught has improved your life. Through Chuck Norrilogy you may even gain entrance into Nirvana.![]()
I'm finding Physics much easier than Chem (both Honors HS). More math in Physics, and less blooding memorizing things. Stupid elements.

What is all this stuff about Chuck Norris and why did it explode today? I heard it on Opie and Anthony, it's on my university's sports forum, on RTW forums now, etc.
Strike, whatever you take, it should be the AP class. There's nothing quite so nice as strolling into College with a half-year's worth of credits already under your belt. Makes you feel like, well, Chuck Norris.
Surely it should be "couldn't care less"? You crazy Americans!
"Put 'em in blue coats, put 'em in red coats, the bastards will run all the same!"
"The English are a strange people....They came here in the morning, looked at the wall, walked over it, killed the garrison and returned to breakfast. What can withstand them?"
Yeah, its gotten really big in my school too, and in my AP US History class, some kid keeps drawing pictures and writes sayings about Chuck Norris on the board...Originally Posted by Teleklos Archelaou

Currently, I'm taking Forensic Science (watch CSI and do easy labs all the time) and Principles of Engineering for my science credits. Then again, it depends on what your school offers...
I'd highly recommend Chuck Norrilogy...it teaches you the science of ass-kicking, as well as they show Walker - Texas Ranger in every class. And the homework is basically about what Chuck Norris does in the episodes. I had it last year![]()

High School physics and its AP counterpart all involve single-variable algebraic equations. It is all about selecting the right equation and plugging the known data in from the story problems you receive. I found this kind of work pretty easy and the stuff was fun to learn. If you have a TI-86 or more powerful calculator, you can use the equation solver to make the class even easier.
I did not enjoy Chemistry. There are too many rules, and they don't seem to hold true throughout the entirety of the subject. Nomenclature, for me, seemed nearly impossible to study for using the naming rules. It seemed like I would have to memorize the names and symbols of every compound in the universe in order to truly know the subject matter.
The Chuck Norris fad began with Conan O'Brien's "Walker, Texas Ranger Lever", a stunt he pulled on his show where he would pull a lever and a hilarious clip out of context from the aforementioned show would play. Videos of this can be downloaded easily. Next, the Chuck Norris Facts list appeared on the internet, and that circulated through internet message boards.

"Never in physical action had I discovered the chilling satisfaction of words. Never in words had I experienced the hot darkness of action. Somewhere there must be a higher principle which reconciles art and action. That principle, it occurred to me, was death." -Yukio Mishima
Everyone always makes their own choices, on everything, whether wanting to or not, you do. Ask a million people and even if they give the same response, it would still be your choice is you followed it. Don't deceive yourself to your responsibility.
GARCIN: I "dreamt," you say. It was no dream. When I chose the hardest path, I made my choice deliberately. A man is what he wills himself to be.
INEZ: Prove it. Prove it was no dream. It's what one does, and nothing else, that shows the stuff one's made of.
GARCIN: I died too soon. I wasn't allowed time to - to do my deeds.
INEZ: One always dies too soon - or too late. And yet one's whole life is complete at that moment, with a line drawn neatly under it, ready for the summing up. You are - your life, and nothing else.

waste the opportunity to blatantly advertise his literary efforts.]

I'd try to take Chuck Norris. Sure, it's tough, but once you get the hang of ducking under the roundhouse kick, it's not so bad.
so I take it you voted for mr.norris as well?Originally Posted by JAG

Do both Chem and Physics.
What are you trying to get into after school?
I voted physics because it is all math, and we all know mathematics is the most important subject.
And then I saw Chuck NorrisLet me take it back, please.
Go Chuck, go!
Lessee - being mildly serious, chemistry is the most useful of the three major sciences - it's the link between physics and biology, so you should do that. I see no reason not to take physics as well (not that I did beyond GCSE). I understand the AP courses to be slightly more rigorous than the non-AP, so you should do them.
Basically, do as much as you can, as hard as you can - you'll only regret not learning as much as you could now, when you're too old and don't have the time to study.
If you have the brains for it, definitely take the AP courses. They will generally be taught by better teachers, and the students are a little more serious and willing to learn, rather than goof off. Scoring well on the AP tests can give you college credit in those classes, which have several benefits:Originally Posted by Lemurmania

2. The classes you get credit for are usually weed out courses, so you get to avoid those.
3. Some colleges order course registration based on credit hours, so having free credits allows you to sign up for the good profs before the rest of your class.![]()

AP stands for Advanced Placement. These classes are typically harder than your standard high school class, and cover material that is usually taught in the first year of college. There are standardized AP tests that you can take at the end. Some colleges will accept good results in these tests as credit for college freshmen level courses.Originally Posted by Dutch_guy

I would say that Physics at this level is generally easier, especially if you are of a mathematical bent-if you know the equations, you should be fine. Chemistry on the other hand, has far more to memorise, but is, I find, more interesting, and has far more big explode-ey practicals than Physics.
It's up to you, really.

I'd take both along with AP Calc, if you have the prerequisites.
Ap Chemistry is a good class. I found it interesting to learn how stuff, like battries in electrochemistry, actually worked. The solution and equalibrium part I found a bit dull, but otherwise a good class.
I'm assuming you mean Physics B. I would have loved to take that class, if my school offered it. They only offer C and regular physics. You need a year of physics for C, so I was forced to take regular when I moved here. I really wish I was in B.
Even if you don't care for science, you can take the courses, do good on the AP exams, and then use your score to get credits at college. Colleges usually require you to take a few intro science courses anyway.
well dog knows why you want to do science, but physics is okay![]()
I once heard that a guy once asked Chuck Norris if his real name was Charles and he stared at the guy so hard the guy exploded and Gary Coleman popped out of the guy's body and said, "Ze plane, boss, ze plane!" and Chuck Norris roundhouse kicked Gary Coleman's head and his head exploded and then a thousand ninjas jumped out and Steven Segal wanted to help but Chuck Norris had already killed all of them so Steven Segal hid his head in his belly and cried.Originally Posted by Teleklos Archelaou

Chemistry is impossible. I warned you, thats why I voted for Chuck Norris.

Chem AP! It's a lot of fun as long as you get to play with chemicals. If your school looks down on that sort of thing Physics AP should be pretty good, but I am only starting my Physics class...
