Reinvent the British and you get a global finance center, edible food and better service. Reinvent the French and you may just get more Germans.

Does sending my king into battle really have that much influence on the folks back home?
No. It's only a problem when he's separated from his empire.
You may well be the victim of spy flooding. Are you at peace with Byzantium? Coz that's usually when they send in the clowns...![]()
How is the religious situation in your empire?

Back to topic, does having the king on the edge of your empire create negative effects, like "area of affect" or someting?

Yes, the loalty effeckt the king gives diminishes with distance (aka the number of provinces you'll need to pass through to get to that province, starting from the kings province), but as long the king is in a costal province with a port it usually doesn't matter.Originally Posted by aw89
But this is the reason why some provinces in the middle of HRE (especially Switzerland) have a loyalty problem despite that all of them doesn't got an extra rebellious status from the gamefiles. Only a problem when your empire is big though.
We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled. But how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?

Save the then attack with your king. See all those nice rebels. Then reload and attack without your king. Nothing. You'll only see this if you got a large empire though.
