Default A preview of a campaign story.

Here's a preview of my campaign story. Please give your suggestions and reviews.

The Baktrian conquest. A EB Campaign story.

Hi. Now that EB is out, I thought of doing an EB story so here you go. I hope you enjoy it. So I decided to use the Baktrian faction, the blue faction of the East.

PS. I need to use MS paint for editing, so no laughing!

So here’s the rules, no Load/saving, VH/M (That’s the recommended settings, BTW.)
Non-restricted camera (For screenshots.) and other stuff. Note this is 1.2

    So anyway, let’s start.

    Pretty cool, huh?

    Turn 1: 272bc

The situation now is quite dire. As you can see, to the west are the Arche Sulukia. To the north west are the Pahlava, and to the east are the Eluthieroi and the Yuezhi.

So let’s check the two armies, shall we?

So we have in total, 4 archers, 2 generals, 1 calvary, and 2 infantry. Now upkeep is very high in this mod, so we need to disband the calvary to make sure we don’t go into debt.

    Mhahahahaha!!

The same fate goes to the Daha HAs and infantry at the capital, which takes a good bit off the debt, and also helps the heavy taxes I’ve enforced on the town. And we wil build some roads too. I then merge the two armies I have and send them to Kophen.

So here’s my plan for now: I will capture Kophen .

We capture those cities over to the east of Kophen, then we move up and attack the Yuezhi. Meanwhile, I spy on the rest of the world, getting trade and alliances. Once I make a good empire, I take off the Arche sulukia leash and attack my leaders. So let’s see if the first step to my plan works. But we need to wait for the other army.

    2 turns later……

We have the armies merged ready to fight. What will be the out come of the battle? Well, if I get a good review, then I will keep going with the campaign story, and add more humour. So how is it?

    Was it any good?

If I was smart, I would have a witty punchline in this sig that would make everyone ROTFL.

    I'm not smart.

It takes time - don't rush it.

That's usually the plan I use from the start with them too. It's probably the safest way to go.

    I know, I'm pretty impatient...

Yeah, I hope to get a good response.

Hello, I've just this minute regisered with these forums in order to say this. Just started to read your report and found that I was enjoying it very much. (I also found that I enjoyed reading the posts similar to these in the rtr forum). Anyway I encourage you to continue as I enjoyed the short part that I read very much and thought that there would be more (dissapointed to see there was no more) so please write some more. I don't generally play as the eastern factions and so I always get excited to read something of that area. In truth I almost always play as Rome (I know, slightly boring) and so anything I hear from the east always seems very exotic. Please continue Copperhaired Berserker as I think you have a nice style of writing and I for one would like to see the development of your campaign.

    Good Stuff Mate.

Heh, I went to Gava-Haomavarga first. I thought, settlement with walls--should be a pushover.

If you haven't played a Baktria campaign yet, don't read this:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

But I didn't know about Thuxra and his ambushers!

Ah! the Generals! they are numerous, but not good for much (especially if they're Languorous)!

LOL my thoughts exactly! I lost my faction leader and half of my army to them, on the first turn!

Needless to say, it took me quite a while to recover.

I'll read anything to do with the Bactrians
"It is an error to divide people into the living and the dead: there are people who are dead-alive, and people who are alive_alive. The dead-alive also write, walk, speak, atc. But they make no mistakes; only machines make no mistakes, and they produce only dead things. The alive-alive are constantly in error, in search, in questions, in torment." - Yevgeny Zamyatin

Great. I'll start over, as I accidently deleted my save file.
