Read this. Then check out Chirac's response. The man has a sense of humor. That is always an important quality in an evil dictator bent on world domination through totalitarian socialism, national ethnocentricity, and institutionalized racism.

    Absolutely, totally, and ashamedly

But: is it my imagination, or has your sig-hamster moved ever closer to the right-wing of the page? :)

That's classic! I'm glad the station is ballsy enough to try it and it's pretty cool that Chirac took it well.

Four stage strategy from Yes, Minister:
Stage one we say nothing is going to happen.
Stage two, we say something may be about to happen, but we should do nothing about it.
Stage three, we say that maybe we should do something about it, but there's nothing we can do.
Stage four, we say maybe there was something we could have done, but it's too late now.

Yeah, when you're going to have a right wing government that exterminates muslims, converts them to christians afterwards and generally tries to piss on people's rights, it's a good thing you can at least laugh about it

Erm, which country were you referring to???

I think he's referring to Hamsterania. Those pesky little rodents are a nasty bunch. They're well known to convert dead muslim hamsters to christianity and for pissing on the rights of us, humans.

Now this is the Chirac I know.

To further support ridiculing him, here's a link to some 'chiraquismes'.
    Unfortunately, in French.

Well, they all seem to support the fact that he has quite a sense of humour. Which he has, Louis, come on! Some Chiraquisms:

    • In matters of international politics people only remember my words when I say something stupid.
    • Of course I am a leftist! I eat sauerkraut and I drink beer!
    • Instead of mad cows we should rather speak of mad journalists.

Gah! You're all part of a devious foreign plot to rehabilitate the old crook so as to trick us into voting for him a third time, to the utter ruin of France.
