You know mosquito bites are bad to scratch but gosh tootin frootin u just love to scratch the pus out of it for the masochistic pleasure of it all.

In the same vein, does anyone love debate about politics and history for the sake of it?

If the following scenarios apply, you are eligible:

a) "I love it for the sake of arguing"
b) "I love it because I get to push sensitive buttons"
c) "When I see an argument on the org, I have a red mist in my eyes, I must join!"
d) "I love it because they kicked me off the debate team for being too zealously fanatical"
e) "I come from a country where free speech is denied, but at the .org, my ideas run free like a urine"
f) "I come from a country where free speech is the license to slag anyone off, so I use the .org as a healthy supplement to my excessive free speech"

Ban me now then. My entire sig has been inplace for 6-8 months. Neither you or any other mod has said anything before now. Since several of you have responded to things I've said you must have seen it. You (any of you) didn't say anything then. Why out of the blue after 6 months do you give me a warning over it. Plus if there are rules on language they are well hidden.

for gods sake in the UAE you can't even criticise america, and if i don't say the US liberated iraq i would be jailed (or used another term, like the US conquered iraq). Thats an example, but yeah i can't criticise the ruling party, the state or religion (any religion) becuase if i did i might incite the expatriates here.

EDIT: i'm exaggerating a bit, but yeah we don't have much freedom of speech.

But seriously, I've always wondered. Do you keep censorship in mind when posting here? Do you sometimes refrain from posting things here to avoid trouble?

Well so far, the ISP only censors porno websites, but the internet generally is accessible.

ISP only monitors webspaces that is hosted on their servers, but thats about it. I guess

Those would be my choice. I HAVE technical free speech but no proper way and whereabouts to exercise it. Not while my word is worth nobody's while, in underage America, where your are dismissed by adults and your non-politically charged (or, more likely, politically charged in a shallow way you utterly disdain -- like the usual "I'm a Republican and I hate Abortion!" and vice versa) friends don't want to listen to you.

Oh, and g. Gah is always the best.
