Nice ! The new ethnicities are really impressive !
Wow. See? After reading this, it makes me want to go play Epiros now, which I haven't really felt a great desire to play yet. I think you should show the others...pretty please?

It does give a good idea of the high level of detail put into what the ethnicities can do. I don't even know who thought of them, but they are one of the coolest things about EB now I think, and make the characters much more believable.Originally Posted by Spendios

How would a player get some family members with these Illyrian ethnicities, since the Epeirotes all start out from the Molossian Dynasty?
Man of the hour or adoption (from the ranks of his generals or even his mercenary generals). doesn't mean that they are going to be King themselves, just that they are in the hierarchy.
Cool! I should have focused on Illyria a long time ago...
If you play Epieros, make sure you have 2 diplomats in each town! Macedon having a bribing adiction.
That is the sort of thing an anthropologist would think up (or get royally pissed at, depending).Originally Posted by Malrubius

Wow I can't wait for the OB so I can play all these factions!
Wait, nevermind, that was just an instinctual reaction.

I hope those Illyroi ethnicities are indeed rare, because even without them the majority of my "family" consists of non-epirotes (lot's of Hellenes and Tarantines, and the occasional Syrakusoi)
That's what I wrote them to beI hope those Illyroi ethnicities are indeed rare, because even without them the majority of my "family" consists of non-epirotes (lot's of Hellenes and Tarantines, and the occasional Syrakusoi)Bear in mind however, that once you have a family member of an ethnicity, he's likely to have kids - who will be the same. It's a facet of the system, establishing dynasties.
"It is an error to divide people into the living and the dead: there are people who are dead-alive, and people who are alive_alive. The dead-alive also write, walk, speak, atc. But they make no mistakes; only machines make no mistakes, and they produce only dead things. The alive-alive are constantly in error, in search, in questions, in torment." - Yevgeny Zamyatin
