Yes, this is exactly the best possible issue to try and use some political capital with his parents. Even if he chose to fight and win this argument, please explain to me how the benfits of being allowed to look at naked men on the computer "as long as it isn't porn" outweighs the negative of trying to explain to your father that you want to be able to see large numbers of simulated naked men, "because they really fought like that.
