    Default Mnai Deus ex Machina?

    Why are buildings and troops costing an arm and a leg to build, recruit, and upkeep? any fixes? Plus, why do they take so long to build and train?

    The ancient world wasn't entirely conquered by a few factions within a few decades. The pace of the game is just slower than vanilla - it's by design. You'll find plenty more to appreciate in that extra time though.
