Besides, I think many of those who are protesting never have seen the drawings themself, but have been told by others that the drawings are offending Muhammad.

Toes that long should be stamped on untill they have the size of a french pancake. So they are mad, aren't they always. Screw them, why change our ways just because the sandlands and it's inhibitants are a minefield full of jihad-buttons. Fun to watch the hysteria though, these backward goats go completily nuts, almost a hate feeding-frenzy

Reinvent the British and you get a global finance center, edible food and better service. Reinvent the French and you may just get more Germans.

Here, here, France. As usual, when something good comes out of France, the government, especially Chirac, had nothing to do with it.

The caricatures are being reprinted all over europe.

I heard that in America there are 'Buy Danish' campaigns. In order to help out danish industries, lol - this is becoming the clash of the civilizations.

What really gets me is how they expect us to live by their religious tenets and now draw muhammed.

As an amateur opinion on the situation, I think that before we can expect some of those there to understand the principle of freedom of speech, they have to first see a way to the truth that is not solely through their Imams, Muhammed, or the Qu'ran.

Here, here, France. As usual, when something good comes out of France, the government, especially Chirac, had nothing to do with it.
Although the cartoons are offensive, I almost wanted people to print more of them too. I fear that provoking them more is a little too 'standoff-ish'.

I was just going to go to the store and thought to myself, "I'll by some Danish stuff," I hope you guys make some good CHOCOLATES that I can find.

I hope none of the countries back down and prosecute out of pressure.

I am having Danish Blue cheese on toast tonight. My apologies to Fourme D'Ambert, but this is done in the best interest of free speech and they won't go belly up in a hurry anyway.

Um, so what else is Danish?

Hmm ... Danish cookies would be nice.

But I am not going to eat those red wiener-like sausages - not even to protect free speech

Good danish food products are mostly (nothing new btw) bacon (tulip) and butter (lurpak).

Also dairy products by Arla tends to be of good standards. In fact, danish butter is some of the best, except that of norwegians.

EDIT: faisal, I just heard on the news, that the UAE will be out of butter within the week - is it true?

What Danish products are there in America?

Heck, I'll have to start calling French Fries 'French Fries' again.

If any of you really want to show your solidarity with our Scandinavian brethren, have some lutefisk for dinner tonight.

That will really separate the men from the boys...

Well when I think of Denmark only 3 things come to mind, endless fields of grain, Tivoli, and absolutely horrible oh so smelly cheese that should be banned because it is basicly a biological weapon. Just opening the fridge dear god!

edit: oh 4, Louisiana is awesome.

Let's gather our forces in defence of Denmark! The civilized world should remember the strategic interests we have in the vast Danish øl-reserves.*

I'll be having some freedom frikadelle with patriot pølser in support.

I do have a fetish with many things Danish, but no, I'm afraid it isn't your food.

Here's a subtle hint to my main Danish fetish:
