Thread: Campaign Map Problems

I've noticed that the Romans start off with most of central Italy at the start of the game and that Epiros has control of the south. But in 275BC Pyrrhus was defeated near Malventum and left Italy for good. Then in 272BC the Romans capture the city of Tarentum, which according to the campaign map is in the center of Epiros controlled lands. Then in 270BC the Romans capture the city of Rhegium (or Rhegion as it is sometimes called). I understand that this game is trying to be as historical as possible, and that you need to give land to the faction of Epiros, but shouldn't the Romans have control of nearly all modern Italy by this point?

Our start date is 272 BC, before Rome captured Tarentum and Rhegium. That's why Pyrrhos is still alive, even though he's not in Italy.

Ah! the Generals! they are numerous, but not good for much (especially if they're Languorous)!
