Thread: Unit size

    Default Unit size

Im currently playing as Casse and it's 234 B.C. I've been playing on small unit size for some weird reason and when I turn it onto large or huge, it doesn't change......Do I have to restart to change unit size? Or is there an other way?

    Basically you have to restart.

There are programs out there that can change unit size in a savegame file but that won't effect units already created they will stay the same size until you retrain them all and since the AI does not retrain you will have a massive advantage until the AI has replaced all its units.

Edit: I think program is called RomeSage don't know where to get it though I'm sure its not hard.

It's in twcenter.net in the tools/utilities section of the RTW downloads.

Basically all the units trained after you change it will be the new unit size, while existing units remain the same.

Download RomeSage, it allows you to change the unit scale of a savegame. Haven't tried it myself, so I don't know of any other effects, but I'd imagine you can just retrain your current units to be back to full size.
