Hi S.J.,

Regarding the Nephilim, "Nephal" in Hebrew means mighty.
In Genesis, it talks about them existing before and after the flood of Noah!

If you research the bible, you'll find that the Nephilim, "im" suffix means many of in hebrew, that they were actually Giants!!! Not men.
Actually a union between demons and women.

A number of the early church fathers said they were offspring off demons and women. I don't think that the women said "yes, why not!" nor does the biblical text say anything about them denying the union, it's kind of moot on it.
BUT...were talking demons not angels like cherubim, seraphim, watchers, or the four faced angels of the book of Ezekiel either, so I sense deception was involved.

If you research it, there were 7 tribes of Giants, Nephilim, Zamim, Zamzumim, Anakim, Emim, and others. Joshua in the book of Joshua was told to "utterly destroy them."

In the book of either I or II Samuel, Goliath who fought David was approx. 13 ft. tall, in text it's measured by cubits, and he was one of those forementioned giants.

Now, insofar as occult literature is concerned, the "occult" I believe in is NOT devil worship, nor "new age," nor divination nor full blown magic. Occult means hidden or secret. Open only to the worthy ones. Meaning if you work along certain lines, you're eligible!
It consists of esoteric schooling meaning the refining of one's character, morals, ethics, and mind cognizantly towards a benevolent/good outcome and "holiness" or "purity" if you will, called the "white" path or right handed path.

So, this is more input for you.
BTW, ever hear of Rudolph Steiner, Mdme. Blavatsky, Charles Leadbeater, Alice Bailey, Paracelsus?
They promoted Theosophy, Steiner then expressed Anthroposophy which includes an "occult" history of the Christ. Om Tat Sat
